PURPOSE:To easily manage picture information by delivering corrected information and a picture information number before the correction when the picture information relating to the correction is delivered to a receiving source after all the picture information is delivered. CONSTITUTION:When a correction command to the picture information number in a transmission source is received, the picture information number is retrieved. When facsimile picture information corresponding to the picture information number is not delivered to the receiving source, the picture information is updated to the corrected picture information. When the facsimile picture information is already delivered to the receiving source, the corrected information and the picture information number before the correction are added to the facsimile picture information and delivered. Thereby, even when the corrected picture information is delivered after the picture information is delivered to the receiving source, the corrected picture information can be easily managed in the receiving source.
