PURPOSE:To reduce an area that a clearing means occupies by initializing an image forming mode if the number of formed images is initialized and initializing the number of set copies if the number of formed images is not initialized. CONSTITUTION:If some image forming mode is selected through a ten-key 4, it is displayed on a display screen 12. If a clearing key 11 is depressed during the prescribed period, the number of input set copies is judged 001 or not. If not, the set mode is initialized after the number of set copies is cleared. If so, a previously set image forming mode is initialized. In such a way only the key 11 can clear the number of formed copies and the image forming mode. In terms of the clearing means, its area can be reduced and its operability can be improved. |
