PURPOSE:To drastically upgrade the accuracy of picture alignment as well as to eliminate a trouble for writing a picture alignment mark by constituting the titled equipment so that the picture alignment mark is stored as well together with a still picture data to be transmitted. CONSTITUTION:A signal inputted to an A/D converter 14 via a reproducing amplifier 13 is converted to a digital signal, and stored in the picture memory area 17 of a memory device 4. Also, a signal transmitted through a transmission line 12 is conducted to an A/D converter 7 via a reception processor 9, and converted to a digital signal, and stored in the area 17 of the device 4. At the time of transmitting the still picture data, the mark-position information 15 for picture alignment is written in the memory device 4 under the control of a microcomputer 5.
