An injecting extruder for an injection moulding machine has a backflow valve on its rotating and longitudinally moving screw; this valve has a ring in the barrel with a limited movement relative to the screw, and the ring surrounds a tapered part of the screw between longitudinal blades on the tip and a pressure collar. A leading part of the ends of the blades acts with the end face of the ring to form an open inlet phase.
