PURPOSE:To select and record a recording sheet in matching with an image size by constituting the 1st honsing and the 2nd honsing so as to freely switch, storing two sheet rolls in the 1st honsing and providing a feed member carrying each sheet, a platen and a recording heat to both the honsings separately. CONSTITUTION:Image information sent from the sending side is demodulated by a MODEN (demodulation section) via a NCU (line control) and fed to a data control section as a digital signal to select any recording sheet. Then a motor 11b is driven by a signal from a CPU to drive a feed roller pair 11 to carry a recording sheet 4 to the recording section 8. A platen roller 8a is driven by a drive motor 8e at the same time and the tip of the recording sheet 4 is fed forcibly to a press-contact part between the platen roller 8a and the recording head 8b. The recording sheet 4 is carried at a constant speed by the platen roller 8a and the received image information is recorded by the recording head 8b heated in response to the image information.
