PURPOSE:To prevent the complicated and inexpensive constitution of a communication equipment by sending a transmission speed setting signal from a master- side transmitter to a slave-side transmitter at a prescribed data speed, allowing the slave side transmitter to detect the data speed of the said transmission speed setting signal and matching the data transmission DC data to be sent with the data transmission speed. CONSTITUTION:The processing for line connection is applied between the master-side transmitter 1 and the slave side transmitter, and the master side transmitter 1, when the end of line connection in confirmed, sends the transmission speed setting signal to the slave side transmitter 1. When the line connection of the master side transmitter 1 is confirmed, the slave side transmitter 2 receives a transmission speed setting signal from the master side transmitter 1 to detect the data transmission speed. When the data transmission speed is decided, the slave side transmitter 2 sends a reception reply signal to the master side transmitter 1 and when the transmission speed matching confirmation signal from the master side transmitter 1 is received, the transmitter 2 starts the sending of the substantial serial data at the data transmission speed in matching with the transmission speed setting signal.
