The invention relates to a fan heater with modular control unit and integrated cooling function, consisting of a basic unit with thermostatic-bimetal 2-position controller. The unit is equipped, in the sucking-in and blowing-out region, with air guide elements which have a small diameter in comparison with the length, in the cross-sectional region. The control unit can be functionally extended by the proposed modular design, so that precise temperature regulation, cooling function, moisture regulation and night-time lowering are possible.
