The invention relates to an aid for worktops on which a display unit, an operating unit for controlling electronic devices and a holder for documents are to be set up. It is the object of the invention to create an aid which is ergonomic in all respects and which is intended to facilitate working at these workstations, which are problematic in any case. Firstly, it achieves this by means of a holder for documents of relatively great weight, which can be adjusted with the document and is stable in all of the selected positions. It is especially this holder which, according to another feature of the invention, can be integrated in an aid which arranges the entire workstation in such a manner that all devices of all relevant types necessary for this can be adjusted in all dimensions and are accessible. It achieves this by means of a base frame which can be placed onto the worktop and which carries both the display unit and the holder in an optimally ergonomic position.
