A magnetic recording disc is formed by forming a undercoating layer on a non magnetic flexible substrate with a thickness of 1.0 through 10 micronmeters and a surface roughness smaller than 0.035 micronmeters, said undercoating layer including electrical conductive powder, polyurethane resin and cross-linking agent, and at least one magnetic layer is formed on the undercoating layer, so as to enable to form recording tracks with a high density.
