In a pressurised fluidised-bed furnace (5 to 21) combined with a gas turbine (1, 2), compressed air is mixed with flue gas, purified at high efficiency, from the fluidised-bed furnace and preheated in a heat exchanger (13) of the fluidised-bed furnace. The compressor air/flue gas mixture is further heated to 1100 DEG C in a gas turbine combustion chamber (7) by combustion of coal gas, expanded in a gas turbine (2) and cooled in a waste-heat boiler (29). In a coal gasification (53 to 69), coal is partially gasified with compressed air, and the gasification residue is burned in the fluidised-bed furnace. Waste heat from the crude gas cooling (56, 58) of the coal gasification is transferred together with heat from the pressurised fluidised-bed furnace (14) by means of a heat transfer circulation (22) with liquid sodium as heat carrier to a steam generator system (31, 32, 33) with a steam turbine (34). In a simplified version, the coal gasification is omitted. <IMAGE>
