PURPOSE:To prevent performance deterioration caused by concentration difference of gasses, to increase proccesability and safety, and to obtain steady power generating performance for a long time by horizontally juxtaposing a fuel cell main body. CONSTITUTION:A packaged fuel cell main body 1 is stacked horizontally and juxtapositionally. A manifold 3 by which fuel gas 4 and oxidizing agent gas 5 are supplied is mounted in an end plate 2. Gas is supplied to the cell main body 1 through gas supply holes 6 installed in the cell main body 1. By stacking cells horizontally and juxtapositionally, passages of fuel gas can be formed in the same height, a problem caused by the uneven mixing of the gas is eliminated, and steady high performance power generation is made possible. |
