MANUFACTURE OF AIR BUTTON BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve contact of an air electrode with a positive case by curving an air electrode in a projection shape after blanking or during blanking, and making it flat after inserting into a positive case to form an air button battery. CONSTITUTION:An air electrode 5 formed by pressing a porous fluorine resin film against a catalyst layer is curved in a projection shape after blanking or during blanking. The air electrode 5 is placed on an air diffusion paper 6 accommodated in the bottom of a positive case 7 and made flat with a tool. A separator 4 and amalgamated zinc 1 filled in a sealing plate 2 are placed thereon to form an air button battery. Thereby, contact of the air electorde with the positive case 7 is remarkably improved, and inserting error of the air electrode 5 into the positive case 7 is decreased. Thereby, the problem caused by increase in internal resistance of the battery is eliminated and reliability is increased.
