PURPOSE:To realize the repetitive input of a series of data by securing such a constitution where a reinput means reads out the series of data and supplies them to the position designated by a designating means after input of those data and designating the position different from the positions of said data by the designating means. CONSTITUTION:A cursor is moved to the end point from the start point by a key input device 11 and the start and end point addresses of a ruled line are stored in a CPU 12 by an area designation key. Then a horizontal ruled line is drawn in a prescribed subroutine. When another horizontal ruled line of the same length is drawn, the cursor is shifted to the position of a designated line and a horizontal ruled line key is pushed. In this case, an area designation key is not operated and therefore the contents of a ruled line start point register 16 are read out with addition of the head address of the line where the cursor is set. Thus a start point position address is obtained and set to a start point position register. Then the contents of a ruled line end point register 17 are read out with addition of the head address of the line where the cursor is set. Thus an end point position address is obtained and set to an end point position register. Then a horizontal ruled line is drawn in a horizontal ruled line set/reset subroutine.
