PURPOSE:To prevent frictional vibration by using as glass component glass fibers mixed with PbO, being formed by the use of a bonding agent, and thereby enhancing the initial frictional coefficient. CONSTITUTION:The PbO content in proportion to glass fibers used as frictional material shall preferably range 5-40wt%. In order to make the glass fibrous mixed with PbO, a spinning method with a platinum nozzle may be used to yield long fibers, or a blow-off method to yield short fibers. When the fibers obtained are to be hardened, merely a bonding agnet may be used, or the fibers may be processed into thread or cloth prior to application of bonding agent, wherein a thermo-hardening resin or rubber should be used as a bonding agent. One of the methods of forming into products is such that the material is mixed together in a V-type blender to be followed by pressurization and heating. |
