PURPOSE:To record a latent image on numbers of recording forms magnetically without destroying the latent image once formed by providing three functions of development, latent-image degausing and cleaning with a developing device which has a magnet roll in the sleeve of a nonmagnetic body arranged spacing by slight gap a recording drum. CONSTITUTION:The latent image is formed on a recording medium 15 on the recording drum 11 by a latent image forming device 12, and then the recording drum 11 is rotated as shown by an arrow A to admit the image into the developing device 13. The sleeve 23 is rotated as shown by an arrow B, and toner 42 is specified by a doctor blade 41 to the height of the nap of a stacked toner chain and conveyed toward the recording drum 11. The magnet roll 21 stops, and a position detector fitted to the rotating shaft of the magnet roll 21 detects the position between the magnet roll 21 and recording medium 15 so that the center 22a of a magnet notched part 22 is closest to the recording medium 15. The angle theta of the magnet notched part 22 and the magnetic flux density of magnetic poles N1 and S1 for development are adjusted, so that latent image on the recording medium 15 is not destroyed and the toner chain is formed properly. |
