PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having an excellent color reproducibility and remarkably improved light fastness of a magenta color image by incorporating at least one of a specific magenta coupler and at least one of a specific compd. to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains at least one of the magenta coupler shown by formula I, and at least one of the compd. shown by formula II, In formula I, Z is a non-metallic atom group necessary for forming a nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring, X is hydrogen atom or a substituent capable of releasing by reacting it with an oxidant of the color developing agent, R is hydrogen atom or a substituent. In formula II, R is alkyl, cycloalkyl or a heterocyclic ring thio group, etc., (n) is an integer of 1-3, when (n) is >=2, R<3> may be the same or the different each other. The another magenta pigment image stabilizer shown by formula III, namely a phenolic compd. and a phenylether compd. may be jointly used as the magenta pigment image stabilizer. |
