PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of actuator, by constituting each drive circuit, making a motor perform its c.w. or c.c.w. rotation which a motor stop signal by overcurrent detection, possible to be reset, in case of a device which controls the motor according to output of a temperature sensor and opens or closes a drain cock. CONSTITUTION:A sensor unit 20 provided with a temperature sensor 2 and a motor drive unit 30 both are installed there. In this motor drive unit 30, there is provided with a closed drive circuit 5 which sets a drive motor 3 so as to be driven in a cock closing direction at a time when temperature is less than the specified value and is reset by a motor stop signal on the basis of an overcurrent at the time of full-close. And, also there is provided with an open drive circuit 7 which sets the drive motor 3 so as to be driven in a cock opening direction with a water switch 6 turned to ON. And, the sensor unit 20 is constituted to control the closed drive circuit 5 so as to set the drive motor 3 to be driven in the cock closing direction when temperature is less than the specified value after the elapse of the specified time since the water switch 6 has been turned to ON.
