PURPOSE:To allow only a write unit to attach detach singly to and from an image forming device without removing a reader, by making the write unit attachable and detachable in the lateral direction against a device body, pressing it from the upper part by an elastic member, and also, providing it firmly by a fastening member attached to the out-side surface of the device. CONSTITUTION:As for digital image forming device, a reader A is attached integrally and device body 50 having the contour of a as shown by a single dot chain, and a rectangular aperture 51 as shown by a single dot chain is provided on a part corresponding to the write unit B of the side face in the lateral direction. In such state, the write unit B is formed to a unit through the aperture 51, and thereafter, formed so such a structure as it can be attached and detached to and from the device body 50. A substrate 70 is pressed downward by pair of right and left holding plates 65 being elastic members to the leading part 61 of a receiving plate 60, in a position where it is contained in the device body 50, and becomes a state contacting against the receiving plate 60. In such state, a pair of right and left projecting parts 72 are fastened tightly and fixed by fastening a small screw 75, for instance, having a head part whose external diameter size is large, as a fastening member screwed to a trailing part 62, in the lateral direction.
