PURPOSE:To avoid the breakdown of a system and also to reduce the operating load with a data processor by loading again an initial program via an action control means in an adaptor error mode based on the error detection output. CONSTITUTION:When an adaptor 2a has an error during an operating input mode, an error detecting part 15b detects the error and reads the error information out of an error information file 15c to deliver the detection signal and the error information. An error mode action control part 16a is started by the detection signal to store the error information and the data excepting the initial program load IPL of an adaptor memory 21 into an IPL memory 12. Then the part 16a reads the error information out of the memory 12b to display it on an operation display part 11 and informs the occurrence of the error to an operator. Furthermore the initial program is loaded again in the memory 21 from the memory 12b. Here the operator recognizes the error occurrence and at the same time continues the operations including the input of data, etc. regardless of the error of the adaptor 2a. |
