PURPOSE:To speed up display picture processing of input data by a copied program by executing picture display processing of input data to be displayed according to a program copied in a memory that can be written and read. CONSTITUTION:A display processing section 1 reads a program 16a or 16b in a read-only memory for program 16 and copies in a readable memory 13, and at the same time, controls a memory switching section 14 to select a memory 15 for display information. Thereafter, the display processing section 1 executes the program 16a or 16b copied in the writable and readable memory 13 until a program change command is inputted anew from a keyboard 6, and thereby, input data received by a communication processing section 2 are displayed on a CRT monitor 5 based on display format information corresponding to each picture read out from the memory 15 for display information.
