An apparatus for recovering floating pollutants, in particular hydrocarbons, of the so-called single or multiple mobile floating weir type having a rigid structure (1) which comprises a recovery compartment (2) and sealed buoyancy tanks (3) and in its lower part carries valves (6) opening towards the outside and a pump (4) fitted with a flexible pipe (5) for delivery to a storage tank, characterised in that each weir is constituted by the upper generating line of a cylindrical float (12) partially submerged in the receiving compartment, capable of being moved in rotation by a motor (14) so as to entrain said upper generating line towards the receiver, and disposed between two side plates (10) articulated on the lower part of the rigid structure so as to move between an upper and a lower limit position respectively, while the external wall of said cylindrical float (12) is made of an oil-attracting material or covered with such a material, and in that a scraping element (15) wiping the latter is mounted so as to follow the movement of the float.</p> |
