PURPOSE:To make it possible to machine workpieces with no dispersion in the height thereof, by machining the workpieces in such a way that a reference surface on which a workpiece holding jig is set is moved up and down along a workpiece holding guide so that the holding jig and a lamp stool are held in a parallel condition. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece holding jig 22 bonded thereto with workpieces 21 having dispersion in their height is set on a workpiece holding jig guide 24, and therefore, the workpiece holding jig 22 is limited in motion other than vertical motion by a reference surfaces 23 and the guide 24 so that the workpiece holding surface and a lap stool 25 are set in parallel with each other, resulting in that a highest workpiece 21 along makes into contact with the lap stool 25. In this condition, when the lap stool 25 and the jig guide 24 are rotated, abrasive is fed so that the machining of the workpieces 21 is completed with the workpieces having substantially no dispersion in height. Thus, it is possible to simply machine workpieces with no dispersion in height. |
