PURPOSE:To accurately drive a photographing lens in accordance with a defocused value to be driven by driving a photographing lens by a lens driving distance required for focusing at a driving speed based upon the 1st lens driving speed setting means before shutter releasing operation, and during a release time lag, driving the lens by the lens driving distance to be driven during the period at a proper driving speed based upon the 2nd lens driving speed setting means. CONSTITUTION:Before the shutter releasing operation, the photographing lens is driven by the lens driving distance found out by a defocused value calculating means and a lens driving distance calculating means at the driving speed based upon the 1st lens driving speed setting means. During the lease time lag, the lens is driven by the lens driving distance to be driven during the period at the prescribed driving speed set up by the 2nd lens driving speed setting means. Even if a subject is moved, its focused status can be accurately obtained at the start of practical photographing. |
