PURPOSE:To realize a cleaning effect for a disk by allowing a cleaning sheet to contact with a disk surface through respective ribs to extend from the inside to the outside of upper and lower cases. CONSTITUTION:When an upper case 4 and a lower case 5 are fitted, cleaning sheets 2 and 3 are allowed to contact with the surface of a magnetic disk in the internal part. In such a case, the sheets 2 and 3 are pressed elastically against the disk at the providing position of linear-shaped ribs 9 and 13 extending radially from the apertures 4a and 5a of the cases 4 and 5. At the time of the use of a disk cartridge, the disk is rotated, and then, the sheets 2 and 3 and the disk contact elastically slidably by the flexibility of the disk at the position of the ribs 9 and 13. As a result, the surface of the disk is cleaned by the sheets 2 and 3 and the trouble due to the sticking of a dust, etc., can be deleted without fail.
