Fabric which, through multi-layered application, shall serve as sawing protection in clothes. It consists of a knitted product, in the mesh channels of which, in one or other or in both directions, yarns or threads 1,2 have been inserted which are so tough that when they are struck by the saw chain they are not cut off but are drawn out in a loop. When a tuft of such loops reaches the wheel driving the saw chain, the wheel is braked to the point where it is stopped. The fabric can also be used as protection against projectiles, splinters and the like. <IMAGE> |
