CONSTITUTION:As the nozzle for continuous casting used at the time of continuously casting molten state of cast iron or copper alloy such as nickel silver, phosphor bronze, etc., the the graphite-made nozzle is used as inserting into steel-made water cooling jecket. By conversing graphite surface of the nozzle into SiC by CVD method or Conversion method, the oxidizing resistance is improved and at the time of continuously casting Cu alloy, etc., the nozzle for continuous casting having excellent high strength and wear resistance, and without spoiling the product quality caused by C invasion from the nozzle is obtd. |
