PURPOSE:To securely form a hot melt fluoroplastic layer on a metallic surface by sticking metallic powder to the metallic surface, then providing a fluoroplastic powder layer thereon and heating the same to the m.p. of the hot melt fluoroplastic or above. CONSTITUTION:Metallic fluoride powder which is zinc fluoride, copper fluoride or chromium fluoride having <=200mu grain size is stuck to the metallic surface. The powder layer of the hot melt fluoroplastic which is a copolymer of, for example, a tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkylvinyl ether having 20-500mu grain size is provided thereon. The powder layer is then heated to the m.p. of the hot melt fluoroplastic or above. As a result, the fluoroplastic and metal can be securely adhered even if a primer is not used. There is not always a need for a pressurization device at the time of adhering the resin and powder and in addition, the generation of foam by the decomposition of the primer in the adhering stage is obviated. |
