PURPOSE:To surely and rapidly exchange a squeeze roller toward the upward direction by making a top roller frame freely slidable in the direction to cross at right angles with the feed direction of a seam welded pipe and eliminating an obstacle of roller exchange work. CONSTITUTION:In case of exchanging the squeeze roller 1, a top roller elevating base 13 is elevated up to the position where a top roller 6 does not interfere with the squeeze roller 1 even if it is moved in the horizontal direction via a worm jack 10 actuating a motor 11. Continuously, the top roller frame 9 is moved in the horizontal direction by a hydraulic cylinder 14. The obstacle at the tip of lifting the squeeze roller by a crane, etc., is eliminated on the upper part of the squeeze roller 1 by the horizontal movement of the top roller frame 9 and the squeeze roller 1 can be easily pulled out upward from a shaft 15.
