PURPOSE:To improve adhesive strength by forming a groove on the surface of abutting core halves apart form a gap part, injecting a low fuse gas melted in the groove from wiring hole and jointing and sticking the core halves. CONSTITUTION:In terms of the core halves, grooves 13 and 14 are formed on high abrasion resistant nonmagnetic bodies 4 and 6 such as high fuse glass on the butted surface except for the gap (g). When the fuse nonmagnetic materials 10 and 11 such as fuse glass are injected to the grooves 13 and 14 from a coiling window 7 and the core halves 1 and 2 are jointed and bonded, their adhesive strength is improved. As a result, a tap slide surface including the gap (g) can be ground quickly and satisfactorily, thereby improving the productivity of a magnetic head.
