PURPOSE:To reduce the missing of a shutter chance by allowing shutter release when a focused state can be almost attained at the time of practical exposure even if the focused state is not set up yet at the time of shutter releasing operation. CONSTITUTION:When an shutter releasing operation means is operated, the shutter releasing operation is detected by a releasing operation detecting means and a defocused value at that time is calculated by the 2nd defocused value calculating means. When the defocused value calculated by the 2nd defocused value calculating means is a prescribed value, the shutter releasing operation is inhibited, but when the value is the prescribed value, the lens can be driven up to almost the focusing position until the start of exposure. Thereby, the start of the shutter releasing operation is permitted by a release permitting means and the lens is driven by an operation control means on the basis of the detected defocused value during the release time lag up to the start of the exposure. |
