PURPOSE:To miniaturize and lighten the motor by using a rotor magnet fitted to serve also as an attraction to a rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:A rotating shaft 43 is freely rotatably supported through bearings 44 and 45 by a housing 46, a disk-shaped rotor magnet 48 is fixed through a boss 47 onto the upper part of the rotating shaft 43, and a stator coil 49 to face with the magnet 48 is arranged in the housing 46 on the lower side of the shaft. On the magnet 48, a metallic ring 50 is provided and a sensor core 14 of a magnetic sheet 13 mounted on the ring 50 is attracted to the magnet 48. On the other hand, a disk-shaped FG magnet 52 is fixed through a boss 51 to the lower part of the rotating shaft 43, and an FG substrate 53 facing the magnet 52 is provided in the housing 46 in the upper direction. Thus, a small and light spindle motor can be constituted.
