PURPOSE:To prevent a plate-shaped material from deformation or damage, by decreasing an inverting track of a mechanism, which conveys the plate- shaped material of plywood single plate or the like to be inverted, while reducing air resistance against the plate-shaped material, when it is inverted, and decreasing setting space. CONSTITUTION:As an endless chain moves, a clamping part 20 integrally moves with its swivel shaft 23 and operating shaft 25 on an oval track 40. Here an idle roller of a clamp opening and closing lever 29, provided in the shaft 25, is intermittently adapted to cam plates 33, 34 in a predetermined position. In accordance with this rotary action, the shaft 25 also turns holding an upper clamping plate in opening condition, while an idle roller not shown, if it is detached from the cam plate 33 or 34, is reset to an opening condition. While the idle roller 27a moves rolling along a main guide groove, and each clamp is erected by adapting a stopper 27b, which moves with the idle rollers 27a, to a roller 30b and turning the clamping part swivel shaft 23 in the clockwise direction. In this point of time, the clamp is moved to a predetermined position by mounting the idle roller 28a to be fitted to an auxiliary guide groove 31A.
