A synthetic resin shuttlecock for badminton includes an annular base (12) and a number of stems (10) extending from the base and each having side branches (11). These elements are all made of a polymer having a molecular orientation, which runs towards the distal ends of the stems and the branches, for improvement in strength, elastic nature and flying characteristics.
