DEVICE FOR REMOVING REMAINING YARN FROM SILVER DOFFER

PURPOSE:To prevent roving from coming loose and the end part of the roving from coming into contact with other parts in transporting bobbins with remaining yarn, by equipping the bobbin exchanging arm of a silver doffer with a bobbin supporting member positively rotatably and setting a contacting member for roving contact. CONSTITUTION:A silver doffer traveling along in the longer direction of the machine bed of a fine spinning frame is equipped with a bobbin exchanging arm 21 for exchanging remaining yarn-containing bobbins (roving remains after using) of spinning spindle for silver bobbins (robbing bobbins). The bobbin exchanging arm 21 is provided with a bobbin supporting member 15 which can support bobbins and positively rotates them and a contacting member (preferably rod material extending in the vertical direction) 36 which controls protrusion of yarn end R when a bobbin having the yarn end R hanging down is inserted into a bobbin supporting member 15 and the bobbin is rotated.
