PURPOSE:To reduce initial and installation cost and contrive a lower operating cost, by providing an intermediate layer duct serving as both a duct under the floor of an upper floor and a duct in the ceiling of a lower floor, and blowing clean air from the upper floor into the lower floor through the intermediate layer duct. CONSTITUTION:Clean air supplied from a blower 32 into a duct 14 in the ceiling through a medium-performance filter 34 is blown into a clean room 18 through high- performance filters 16 and blow-off ports 36, and is then fed into an intermediate layer duct 38 through a floor surface 24 together with dusts. A major portion of the air thus fed is passed through intermediate layer intake ports 42 into low pressure loss type high-performance filters 40, and is blown off from blow-off ports 44 into a lower floor. A portion of the air fed into the duct 38 is returned into a return duct 48 by controlling an intermediate layer duct return damper 46a. On the other hand, a portion of conditioned air is supplied into the lower floor through an air-conditioning blow-off port equipped with a high-performance filter, by operating a damper 46b for air-conditioning the lower floor. The air blown into a clean room 18 in the lower floor is returned into the return duct 48 through a floor surface 24, and a portion thereof is exhausted through an exhaust damper 46C. |
