PURPOSE:To generate a cornering force using camber thrust generated on right and left rear wheels, and improve response in course change and performance in turning by directing the ground camber of said wheels to the same direction as the steering direction of front wheels. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a means 8 for detecting the steering direction of front wheels 3 and a control unit 7 for outputting a control signal on the basis of a detecting signal from said means 8. Also, there are provided an actuator 6 operating on a control signal from the control unit 7 and a variable mechanism 5 for varying the ground camber of rear wheels 4 interlocked with the actuator 6. And the control unit 7 outputs a control signal for directing the ground camber of the right and left rear wheels 4 to the same steering direction as the front wheels 3 under a steering condition. According to the aforesaid constitution, camber thrust in the same direction appears on the right and left rear wheels 4, thereby enabling the active generation of a cornering force and the improvement of both response in course change and performance in turning. |
