PURPOSE:To obtain a photographic sensitive material free from subordinate unfavorable absorption, good in resistances to light and formaline and high in color formation performance by incorporating a specified magenta coupler in a silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one of the silver halide emulsion layers formed on the support of the silver halide photographic sensitive material contains the magenta coupler substituted by an optionally substituted cycloalkyl group at the 6-position of a 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-C]-s-triazole type magenta coupler, preferably, in an amount of 1.5X10<-3>-7.5X10<-1>, especially, 1X10<-2>-5X10<-1>mol per mol of silver halide.
