PURPOSE:To exactly and safely lift up and move heavy objects a well as to provide both a soil excavating function and a lifting function for heavy objects together with a craning function for an excavator to be used in soil-excavating and discharging work. CONSTITUTION:A nearly a chevron-shaped first boom 6 is provided on a mobile vehicular body 1 in a vertically movable manner, and the second boom 8 is rotatably provided at the tip of the boom 6. A bucket 9 is connected to the tip of the second boom 8, and a crane mechanism 15 expandible to the longitudinal direction of the <-shaped upper side of the boom 6. During the usual excavating operation, the mechanism 15 is housed in the side face of the boom 6, and soil is excavated by the bucket 9. When lifting up heavy objects, the bucket 9 is temporarily taken in the downside of the boom 6, and heavy objects are lifted up and moved by the crane mechanism 15.
