<p>PURPOSE:To exactly detect leak water in a much earier stage by a vary simple constitution in which a leak water sensing section is provided in contact with a water-using apparatus and the floor on which the apparatus is set. CONSTITUTION:When the leakage of water from a water-using apparatus 17 occurs, the water is directed by its own osmotic pressure to the apparatus 17 and a floor 18 on which the apparatus 17 is set. A leak water sensing section 11 set between the apparatus 17 and the floor 18 can respond to the occurrence of water leak immediately, and the leak water is imbibed by the blotting paper 14 of the sensing section 11. Electrodes 12a and 12b embedded in the section 11 in a lattice-like form is normally insulated. When the blotting paper 14 having electrodes 12a and 12b contains sufficient moisture, the electrodes 12a and 12b become conductive through the resistance of water. Therefore, by applying differently polar voltages between the electrodes 12a and 12b through a lead wire 13 from a leak water sensor main unit 15, the leakage of water can be made possible.</p> |
