PURPOSE:To always obtain stabilized combustion on a burner, by providing an annular cylinder which separates combustion flames which are injected from injection ports to the top of the outer periphery of a diffusion cup, with a gap provided between the annular cylinder and the outer periphery of a diffusion cup. CONSTITUTION:When an operation switch 11 is depressed, an ignition heater 35 is red-heated, a fuel is injected and is fed to the outer periphery of an atomizer 37 by a fuel pump 40 through a fuel feed pipe 42 and a fuel nozzle 36. The fuel is sprayed to the inside wall of a diffusion cup 2, and it is injected from a small gap on the vertical plane of a diffusion cup 2. Part of the fuel is sprayed to the red-heated ignition heater 35, and combustion is started. By the combustion, the diffusion cup 2 is heated and the fuel dripping down along the inside wall of a diffusion cup 2 is evaporated. The evaporated fuel and combustion air fed by a revolving fan 43 are sucked through a suction pipe 45. Together with combustion air fed into a draft pipe 29 through a draft duct 46, the mixed gas passing through a passage 34 is injected from an injection port 3 and injection holes 33, thus forming combustion flames.
