PURPOSE:To attain stable picture reading by using an adhesives so as to adhere a solid-state image pickup element to an optical member forming part of an optical system thereby preventing position deviation between the solid-state image pickup elements. CONSTITUTION:An original light image focused by a lens 21 is separated into a divided light of an R-ch image and a divided light B of a C-ch image by using a dichroic mirror 23 provided in the inside of a prism 22 and they are formed onto a photodetecting plane of line image sensors R-ch CCD 25 and C-ch CCD 27 adhered directly to the prism 22 by the adhesives. Through the constitution above, in adhering the solid-state image pickup elements to the image forming position of the light split member being the optical members by the assistance of simple mount members, many causes to picture element deviation are eliminated, resulting in avoiding the deterioration in the picture quality based on said picture element deviation.
