PURPOSE:To obtain an Ni-base alloy for outer shell for Ti or Ti alloy excellent in joining strength as well as in corrosion resistance, by providing a composition containing, besides Co and Mn as essential alloying elements, prescribed percentage each of one or more elements among V, Mo, and Fe. CONSTITUTION:The titled Ni-base alloy has a composition containing, by weight ratio, 0.1-10% Co and 0.1-3% Mn as essential alloying elements, further containing one ore more elements among V, Mo, and Fe so that their quantities are 0.1-20%, respectively, and their total is <=3%, and having the balance Ni with inevitable impurities. In this invention, corrosion resistance is improved by the addition of Co, joining strength is strengthened by the addition of Mn, and the addition of V, Mo, and Fe produces the effect of strengthening joining strength (that is, preventing the formation of intermetallic compounds at the interface between base material and outer shell material). Moreover, by the addition of Cr, corrosion resistance is improved to a greater extent.
