The gasket, having a symmetrical profile, comprises a main body 2 made from relatively flexible material, whose upper part 5 is extended on the one hand by two opposing lips turned towards the inside and on the other hand by two fins 7 extending towards the outside. A groove 8 made between the two lips 6 receives a support and contact ring 3, made from a relatively hard material. The wings 7, ending in edges 13 which are directed towards one another, trap a spacer ring 4, made from a very rigid material, under which there is a volume 16 which may be filled with a pressurised fluid. This gasket provides a "single-effect" or "double-effect" dynamic seal around a shaft imparted with a rotary or combined movement. <IMAGE>
