The subject of the invention relates to a device for detecting pseudo-atmospheric carbon monoxide CO for injection of burnt gases into greenhouses. It consists of the combination of a by-pass 4, placed on the duct 2 near the outlet of the emitter and linked to a specimen-cooling device 5, then by linking to the outlet of this cooling device with a condensation pot 7 a CO detector 9 of the atmospheric type comprising a calibrated resistor 12 with fuses 14 and a terminal strip 13. It is intended to improve crops under a controlled environment (greenhouses, plastic tunnels, etc.) for which the enrichment in CO<2> (carbon dioxide) of the atmosphere is a productivity factor. <IMAGE>
