The invention relates to a fibre-optic connector, comprising a bar 1 provided with a groove 3, on which bar a sleeve 2 may rotate, offering two slits 4, 5 terminated by notches 4a, 5a. By successive rotations imparted to the sleeve 2, an optical fibre F1 may be inserted into the groove 3 and be held in place there, then an optical fibre F2 may be inserted, in abutment, into the groove 3 via the slit 5 and it is held in place there, the various operations being able to be controlled visually by virtue of the notches 4a, 5a. <IMAGE>
