PURPOSE:To improve the heat resistance, the abrasion resistance and the corrosion resistance of a fuel injection nozzle by forming a fuel injection nozzle from a heat resistant and conductive sintered ceramic then forming an injection port, a valve hole and a fuel supply hole through electric discharge machining. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection nozzle 1 has an injection port 2, a valve hole 3 for receiving a valve body which opens/closes said injection port 2 and a fuel supply hole 5. The fuel injection nozzle 1 is formed from a heat resistant and conductive sintered ceramic having the electrical resistivity of 1X10<-2>OMEGA.cm. Then, the injection port 2, the valve hole 3 and the fuel supply hole 5 are formed through electric discharge machining. Consequently, the heat resistance, the abrasion resistance and the corrosion resistance of the fuel injection nozzle 1 are improved.
