摘要 PURPOSE:To identify a fault candidate signal line by dividing a synchronous sequential circuit, checking whether a fault exists or not by a dividing circuit unit, and executing reverse logical development with regard to the dividing circuit in which the fault exists. CONSTITUTION:A circuit dividing device 401 divides a circuit at every clock generation time based on circuit constitution data which has been read from a file 402. The circuit 401, first of all, reversely follows up a logical circuit diagram from an output signal line in order to obtain a dividing circuit at the time t3, and ends the operation for reversely following up the logical diagram, when it has reached an input signal line and a storage element. Data is stored in a file 403. At the same time, the dividing circuit at the time t2 and the time t1 is obtained. Based on a result of this division, a setting device 404 selects observing signal lines of the dividing circuit at each time, respectively. Information of the observing signal line is compared with a test input by a stroboscopic device 407, and becomes an observed value. The observed value is compared with the normal value of a file 409.
