PURPOSE:To prevent the wasteful power consumption within a power generating plant by providing a combustor for generating a thermal energy, a gas turbine for converting the thermal energy into a driving force and a load dispatching device for feeding the generated output into a condensate-system driving unit in a steam turbine. CONSTITUTION:Steam within a geothermal fluid is introduced into a steam turbine 14 for driving a generator 18 so that the geothermal energy is converted into the electric power. A combustor 40, which is fed with compressed air from an air compressor 42 and fuel, generates thermal energy corresponding to the quantity of fuel introduced. A gas turbine 32 converts the thermal energy gener ated by the combustor 40 into a driving force. The generated output of a genera tor 34 is fed into a gas extracting compressor 24, a circulating water pump 26 and a cooling tower fan 28 constituting the condensate-system driving unit in the steam turbine 14. Thereby, the electric power corresponding to the power required for a condensate-system driving unit can be fed into the condensate- system driving unit, and accordingly, wasteful power consumption can be avoided.
