The invention relates to a device making it possible to condense the vapours and to remove from them particles and odours by means of a cooking pot lid equipped with a removable filter cartridge. It consists of a saucepan lid 3, topped by a casing 1 which receives the removable filter cartridges 2 filled with activated charcoal 4, each cartridge being assigned to a type of food product having characteristic cooking odours. The cooking vapours go through the openings 5, pass through the filter cartridge, and their purified residue exits through the openings 6. <IMAGE>
