发明名称 COOLING DEVICE FOR FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To equalize the temperature distribution of a cell surface as well as to aim at the promotion of long service life in a cell and a sharp improvement in cell performance, by constituting the cooling capacity of a cooling plate so as to make a part proximate to an inlet larger than that in and around an outlet of an oxidizer gas passage. CONSTITUTION:Plural cooling pipes 20 subjected to insulating treatment are set up in a cooling plate 8 at regulat intervals, among which, in a cooling pipe 20a to be set up in and around an inlet of an ixidizer ags passage, there are provided with cooling fins 21 around the circumference, and on the other hand, cooling pipes 20b to be set up in and around outlet of the oxidizer bas passage are constituted of the cooling pipe similar to those heretofore in use. With this constitution, a cooling pipe surface area per unit area of the cooling plate 8 in and around the inlet of the oxidizer gas passage is increase and thereby cooling efficiency is sharply improved, so that a local temperature rise so far produced in this part is retrainable, thus temperature on an electrode surface is maintainable in uniformity.
